Pledges

Pledges

Merrim-Webster defines a Pledge as someone who commits to “a binding promise or agreement to do or forbear.” The Future Leader who joins IEJL is required to take an oath of “IEJL Oath of Ethical Commerce” thereby becoming an IEJL Pledge. The IEJL Pledge will engage in critical thinking activities that are necessary for them to develop into champions of ethics by:

  • Bringing Awareness to Unethical Behaviors
  • Enhancing Critical Thinking Skill
  • Stimulating Self-Development
  • Creating an ethical business culture

The IEJL Pledge will be able to participate in the IEJL Awards Program, IEJL Job Connect, IEJL Chapter events, and IEJL Live. There is no cost to become a Pledge and no cost to participate in most of the Pledge programs!
